An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone to expand their knowledge and develop into an Account Executive role, working for one of the world's leading reinsurance firms - Guy Carpenter.

Account Executive

You will be actively engaged with both internal and external stakeholders, to deliver excellent and efficient service to our marine facultative reinsurance team.

The Account Executive position monitors key activities and tasks throughout the reinsurance placement to promote efficient and timely compliance with our best practice processes.

What can you expect?

You will be responsible for coordinating all placement support activities and delivering proactive, valued support within our client teams.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Duties to include account management and coordination of placements delivered to Clients.
Update marketing sheets for the broking team whilst also producing data, statistics, and information packs.

We will rely on you to:

Assist with reviews of client renewal information
Initiate the contract drafting process, updates, and production of final contract documentation.
Assist brokers and prepare submissions, where required.
Track placement status of assigned accounts and update information as necessary.
Liaise with reinsurers in response to queries or requests, in conjunction with brokers.
Maintain core placement files to ensure we evidence all best practice procedures and compliance requirements.
Respond to client requests for information (reinsurer, financial reports, industry issues, etc.)
On boarding of new clients and markets.
Key responsibility for Compliance policies
Sanctions referrals, Third Parties, AML & ABC.
Monitor and report on business metrics.
Build a strong relationship with our Service Team and an understanding of accounting, claims and facultative administration.
Actively participate in team, client, and reinsurer meetings.

What you need to have:

Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
A keen attention to detail and accuracy.
A high level of communication skills, essential for establishing good working relationships.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

What makes you stand out:

Experience in the marine insurance / reinsurance industry is essential.
Attention to detail and the delivery accurate documentation.
A good level of knowledge in marine insurance placements, particularly in Hull and P&I, other marine lines knowledge also beneficial.
