    Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Highways Project Manager on behalf of a specialist civil engineering contractor to manage ongoing works in the Yorkshire area.
    The company are an industry leader in their field, delivering highways related civil engineering solutions to clients for over 30 years. They operate across a number of Area's for National Highways and have built a reputation for consistency.
    Due to recent acquisition of projects they are building a larger team for Area 12 delivery hence adding a new Project Manager to the team. This role will purely be working in Area 12 - Yorkshire region for National Highways work.
    Duties as Project Manager:

    • Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines.
    • Involvement with commercial processes alongside overseeing operational delivery.
    • Planning & programming work.
    • Interaction with clients & stakeholders to ensure a positive reputation.
    • Checking & preparing of site specific documentation.
    • Managing supply chain.
    • Managing sub-contractors & assignment to projects.
    • Ensuring that high standards of HSE are met on site.
    • Promoting sustainable solutions for projects.
    Experience Required as Project Manager:
    • Experience working as Site Manager / Project Manager on civil engineering & highways projects as main contractor.
    • Experience working on Highways England / National Highways projects.
    • Ability to manage civil engineering projects at all stages as PC.
    • Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS are essential.
    • Degree or HNC/HND qualified is preferred.
    Remuneration:
    On offer is a salary of circa. £65,000 plus generous package including:
    Car or allowance, generous pension, annual leave, healthcare and more.
