    Salary:
    £40,000 per annum plus car allowance


    MIDAS is working with a privately owned main contractor who are a contractor of choice across a number of local frameworks and private clients.

    Delivering projects across residential, high-rise, healthcare, commercial and industrial they have a track record of delivering exceptional work.

    They have a strong pipeline of work for the next 3 years and are looking for driven individuals with talent to help them deliver these schemes.


    The role is based in and around the Manchester and Greater Manchester area and initially is supporting a key client, providing key fit out and refurbishment works in the social housing sector.

    Assisting the designated Site Manager, you will support the management team in overseeing all site activities to include the daily management of staff and subcontractors, dealing with the client in the Site Manager's absence, ensuring health, safety, quality and environmental objectives are achieved and supporting the business in ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost and to first class quality standards.

    Assisting with the management of site teams and co-ordination of site activities
    Ensuring all method statements and risk assessments are appropriate and in place in advance of the works
    Assisting in the delivery of safety and environmental management systems and project compliance
    Providing key support to the wider management team in ensuring project is delivered on time, budget and to the client's satisfaction

    Experience of traditional construction projects including both New Build and Refurbishments is highly desirable, especially in the social housing sector.

    You will be able to demonstrate a positive and pro-active attitude towards health and safety, show great planning skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritising tasks and monitoring progress against plan, making alterations where necessary.
