    • Developing renewable energy infrastructure projects and managing assets.
    • Designing and managing strategic deals in a challenging policy environment.
    • Forming strategic partnerships and working with multiple public and private sector stakeholders in the development of large complex projects.

    Responsibilities, duties and tasks:

    Provide key data, analytical, and content support for senior investment professionals in the following areas:

    Financial modeling

    • Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to help construct valuation models for target assets.
    • Provide in-depth analysis based on various scenarios

    Market Analysis

    • Stay informed of market activity and understand how various renewable market regulations affect assets / portfolios
    • Produce regular market reports and analysis, as required

    Business Analysis

    • Assist senior investment professionals on the analysis of target assets
    • Assist senior investment professionals on the analysis of various due diligence reports
    • Create presentations summarizing the investment opportunity
    • Assist preparation of written proposals for the sellers of the renewable assets

    Investor relations

    • Stay informed of various investor's investment targets and criteria
    • Produce and update regular reports and analysis on investor demands, as required

    Person Specification

    Qualifications/Training:

    It is essential that the post holder has:

    • Bachelors degree required. Masters degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field preferable.
    • 2 - 5 years of experience in investment banking, management / strategic consulting and/or corporate / business development preferred

    Experience/Knowledge:

    It is essential that the post holder has:

    • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong analytical aptitude, with an understanding of financial analysis
    • Fluency in accounting and cash flow/valuation model

    Other Requirements

    • Fluent in Japanese
    • Passion for and understanding of private investing
    • Ability to write effectively
