I am working for a Charity who are seeking an experienced Project & Programme Support Officer to work across our Digital and Technology department.

This is a great opportunity for a talented individual with excellent organisational skills, who is experienced in providing project and programme support to teams who are delivering a range of both simple and complex projects/programmes.

In this busy and varied role, no two days will be the same. You'll help us organise our plans and project/programme documentation, including managing their reporting cycle. You will also support recording information on project/programme progress to help ensure these are successfully delivered.


Requirements:


  • Provide project/programme administration support for digital and technology projects and programmes in liaison with the managers and team leaders.
  • Support creating, developing, updating and improving project/ programme plans, reports, risks and issues registers and other documentation.
  • Assist project/programme team members in any duties which enable project/programme delivery e.g. procurement, organising events, meetings management, communications to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on progress, including alerting the appropriate Project/Programme Manager/Owner to any matter affecting project/ programme timescales or other resourcing matters.

Experience:


  • Previous experience of complex administrative processes.
  • Experience of handling large amounts of complex data.
  • Relevant project/programme experience, including using planning tools (Excel or others), supporting workshops, running reports, managing documentation.
  • A good understanding of Information Technology in a large organisation and how it can be used to improve the business's efficiency and effectiveness.
