Support Practitioner in
Glasgow.


We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need previous experience as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need;
We'll even fund your SVQ/SCQF qualifications and your yearly SSSC fee

The Role
You'll be joining a fun and friendly team who support 3 gentlemen with complex needs and learning disabilities.

With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances.

The people we support have a wide range of interests and each is unique to the individual.

We'll be looking to you to be enthusiastic and take an active interest in their hobbies which includes getting out for walks, arts and crafts, bowling, going shopping, watching movies at the cinema and going to the disco for a dance.

Trains and visits to the local train station is a hobby that a person we support loves to do and each individual loves to explore different places in Glasgow most days as well as further afield.


About You

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

  • Great communication skills.
  • Able to think outside the box.
  • Caring attitude and approach.
  • Positive approach to learning.
  • Able to follow guidelines.
  • Confidence in the use of technology.
Driving license preferable but not essential.


Shift Patterns


We provide tailored support 24 hours, 7 days a week and shift patterns include 8am to 11pm (sleepover) 7am to 8am and 8am until 8pm shifts including weekends and public holidays.
