Assisting the Head of Skills and Performance with all aspects of the company policies and procedures as well as being responsible for certain areas of the business.

Making sure we have the policies and procedures in place and all policies are being followed correctly to give our customer's the best possible experience whilst they are on programme / being recruited through the SPR team.


Job Duties

  • Take responsibility of compliance policies and protocols on behalf of your area in Steps to Work for the Restart Scheme.
  • To develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organisation operates in accordance with Restart Scheme.
  • Determine a compliance tracking system in line with quality and Compliance requirements as stipulated by DWP in the delivery of the Restart Scheme.
  • Remain up to date on laws and changes in contract's related to the organisation and update policies accordingly.
  • Perform compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved. Work closely with the Operations Manager and Head of Skills and Performance to support the team ensuring best practice is followed at all times.
  • Maintaining up to date written documentation and policies related to the business activities.
  • Create compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions. Support the team by assisting with staff one to ones, target setting and observations.
  • Undertake other such duties as requested which are reasonable and appropriate to the role.
  • Development and delivery of staff training to support the ongoing improvement of the Customer Service Standards as set out within the Restart Scheme
  • Represent STW by attending quality and compliance meetings, forum, and planning sessions. Liaise with both our Prime and DWP to ensure STW are up to date with the latest developments, processes, and procedures.

Experience - Essential/Desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of having worked within a DWP project, with a strong understanding of the compliance requirements of the Restart Scheme.
  • Experience of preparing and taking part in audits, in addition to putting corrective action in place.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies
  • Experience of working in collaboration with others to ensure correct processes are in place and experience of supporting others to achieve best practice processes.
  • Strong moral code and ethics

Qualifications

  • An ISO auditor qualification would be an advantage. Desirable

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all level of an organisation with tact and diplomacy

  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to multiple deadlines.
  • An excellent standard of verbal and written communication.

  • Have an understanding of Data Protection legislation and confidentiality at all times.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
