    In the past 7 years, Bohunt Wokingham has developed a reputation at County and National Level for Sport, with Girls Football winning the National Cup in 2018 and 2022 and the British Championships in 2019. Alongside the success in Girls Football, the U13 Girls Rugby team were crowned National Touch Rugby Champions in 2023. It is essential that you will need to commit to the thriving extra-curricular program, taking teams across a range of sports and age groups.

    Students at Bohunt Wokingham have access to outstanding Sports facilities including an 8 Badminton Court Sports Hall, a 30ft Rock Climbing wall, a Dance Studio, a 3G Football Pitch (Rugby compliant), Floodlit Netball and Tennis Courts and a large field. In addition the PE staff have access to the 'Places Leisure' gym that is located on site.

    Physical Education is extremely popular as a Key Stage 4 option, with GCSE PE boasting an impressive 0.84 in Progress 8 last year. The department offers Physical Education GCSE (AQA), BTEC Sport (Pearson), GCSE Dance (AQA), Health and Social Care BTEC (Pearson). The successful candidate will be likely to teach exam classes in their first years, so experience with at least one of the courses above is desirable.

    We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust, a MAT with nine schools including two Sixth Forms and a boarding facility. We may be separated geographically, however, all BET schools are student centred, sharing an uncompromising belief in high achievement and unconditional positive expectations, a real sense of community and a dynamic, innovative approach to education.
