    We have a new opportunity for a Planner to join our team in the Vistry East Anglia division, at our Peterborough office. As our **Planner**, you will assist with the design and planning of residential developments for Vistry East Anglia and co-ordinate the planning process to meet departmental objectives, in line with the Company's best practices and procedures.

    • Architecture or Planning-related Degree or relevant experience in the industry
    • Previous experience working within a residential house builder, Consultant, or Local Authority
    • Experience in project management

    • Prepare design and planning briefs, tender packages and oversee works being undertaken by external consultants in the preparation of planning applications, considering planning budgets
    • Prepare, submit and monitor various planning application types from pre-application to determination to obtain positive consents, including the preparation of required planning documentation
    • Engage with all relevant bodies and Local Planning Authorities, along with external project teams, and involve the public and relevant stakeholders
    • Assist the Land Department in planning appraisals for new land opportunities
    • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Land Department with other land personnel
    • Assist in a smooth handover to the regional business after planning permission is granted to ensure a successful site start for each development
