    The Talent Set is excited to be working with a fantastic London-based University to search for an Internal Communications Manager on a permanent basis.

    The Internal Communications Manager will lead and manage a small team across staff and student communications to support the delivery of strategic and operational communications. This role will bring the strategy to life, driving engagement across platforms and building a sense of pride and belonging in the staff and students.

    The postholder will lead the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of staff and student multi-media communications and campaigns on internal and digital channels, mapped against the academic year and student life cycle, ensuring communications are targeted, timely, relevant and accurate.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and deliver the institution's staff and student communications, enabling them to achieve strategic objectives through communications activities and campaigns.
    • Support on strategic projects, including digital and change communications
    • Manage and motivate a team to deliver to high standards and support their professional development.
    • Oversee the development of content and technology to support staff and students and increase engagement across the university community, including staff and student portals, e-newsletters and digital campus messaging.
    • Ensure that all strategic and operational communications activities have measurable objectives to assess impact, reporting on and refining these where required.

    Personal Specification:

    • Experience of developing compelling content and campaigns across internal and organisational channels, with segmentation by audience.
    • Experience of developing and implementing staff and student communications plans underpinned by insight and feedback.
    • Excellent project management skills
    • Excellent news judgement and writing skill

    What's on offer:

    Permanent, full-time

    2-3 days/week in London office

    Salary: £43,000-£49,000
