Overview

As a Content Executive, you will be an integral part of our new Editorial Content team, researching, writing, proofing and publishing online content.

Working collaboratively with the Content Manager and SEO Team to help create and deliver a leading content strategy that resonates with Betfred's audience whilst contributing towards the business's commercial performances.

The Content Executive's responsibilities include producing 5+ quality articles per day and optimising written pieces to achieve our business goals.

You must have excellent writing and editing skills in English. Betting and sporting knowledge across a variety of sports will be crucial in this role.

The Role

Updating Betfred Insights with a good mix of hub and hygiene content.
Optimising published pieces using SEO guidelines.
Working closely with the SEO team to ensure best practice is carried out in all written copy.
Analysing and providing feedback of the commercial performance of content towards KPIs
Collaborating with key stakeholders to maximise the content opportunities for Betfred Insights.
Generate new ideas around industryrelated topics.

About you

The Content Executive will have:

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Content Executive or similar role
A portfolio of published work
Excellent writing and editing skills in English
Attention to detail
Handson experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)
Familiarity with SEO and keyword research a nice to have although training will be provided
