Description

Our client, a leading financial services company are looking for a new hire within their Tax team.

You will be going in as Head of Tax and will have the opportunity to build your own team as you will be the first hire you will really have the chance to makethe role your own.

Duties include.

Manage the relationship between the outsourced tax advisor and internal managers within the business.
Work with international tax advisors to ensure local direct tax returns are submitted timely within relevant jurisdictions.
Provide management accounts teams relevant calculations of quarterly tax returns.
Preparing corporation tax cash flow and payment forecasts.
Prepare Group tax computations at each half yearly reporting period liaising with all local advisers to ensure accuracy.
Manage and coordinate annual Group tax audits, including assessments of the tax treatments of share options and acquisitions.
Work with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to maintain and develop policies and procedures.
Assist the Group Finance Director with ad hoc international projects, including Transfer pricing and R&D claims.
Supporting the business with M&A activity, reorganisations and tax due diligence
Advising the CFO in future tax planning and guidance on the Group's effective tax rate
