    Description

    Our client has extensive experience working on some of the largest nuclear licensed sites in the UK, where they have developed innovative solutions for handling Legacy nuclear materials safely and efficiently.
    From the initial concept to detailed design, our teams offer a wide range of multi-disciplinary design services.

    As part of the team working directly with a key client in the Nuclear sector, you will take on the role of an HVAC Engineer with a proven track record.
    You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and upkeep of HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring strict compliance with regulations. Your tasks will include conducting on-site surveys, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing expert technical advice.

    This position offers a hybrid working setup, with 2 days spent at the client site each week, requiring you to be located in or willing to travel to Glasgow.

    Key Objectives

    • Design, develop, and deploy HVAC systems.
    • Conduct site surveys and engage with stakeholders.
    • Provide technical support and guidance.
    • Carry out inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    • Keep abreast of industry developments.
    • Complete PIMS requirements and interfaces management training.
    • Maintain precise project documentation.
    • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
    • Demonstrate expertise in HVAC design.
    • Preferably possess professional certification or licensure.
    • Benefit from previous experience in secure environments.
