**JOB TITLE:

Finance Manager - (German speaking)
**DEPARTMENT:
- **Accounts, based in UK )HYBRID

**REPORTING TO:

Finance DirectorUK**
THE ROLE:Responsible for GiB management accounts and supporting the UK Finance Director. Reporting to the Group Financial Director.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Produce monthly and management accounts, delegating work appropriately within laid down time frames.
  • Manage relationship, tasks and deadlines with German tax consultant
  • Manage statutory filings with banks, federal institutions and other third parties where required.
  • Provide group senior management insight between German and UK accounting systems
  • Monthly Cashflow reporting for the German Company.
  • Produce year end P&L and balance sheets
  • Oversea timely production of supporting management information
  • Produce Weekly Finance Stats and ensure GL and BI are aligned
  • Oversea monthly balance sheet reconciliations identifying risks and opportunities
  • Produce monthly and annual budgets and forecast
  • Manage, motivate and train where required the wider accounts team
  • Oversee year end audit with external auditors
  • Ensure financial controls and procedures are implemented and maintained
  • Ensure payroll is processed every month
  • Provide any other ad hoc management information and analysis where required

THE PERSON
To be successful in this role, you will be required to demonstrate the following key skills:

  • Sound understanding of both German and UK accounting rules
  • Organised and efficient, able to prioritise tasks
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Oracle Net Suite an advantage
  • Proactive, enthusiastic attitude, generating and embracing new ideas
  • Demonstrate diplomacy and discretion, dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to converse in English and German at all levels of Management
