    Job Title: M+E Mobile Engineer (Electrically Bias)

    Location: Midlands (Leicester and Loughborough)

    Salary: 36, ,400 per annum

    Introduction:

    We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced M+E Mobile Engineer with an electrical bias to join leading FM provider. This role will involve covering commercial sites in the Midlands region, specifically Leicester and Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks, responding to reactive maintenance requests, and ensuring the smooth operation of various building systems, including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, fire alarms, and more.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Responding promptly to reactive maintenance calls, diagnosing faults, and carrying out necessary repairs to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous operation of building services.
    • Performing maintenance tasks on air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), boilers, fire alarms, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
    • Conducting testing and inspections as required, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions to ensure the safety and efficiency of building systems.
    • Completing work orders and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining detailed documentation of all work performed.
    • Liaising with clients, building managers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service at all times.
    • Adhering to health and safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
    • Participating in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry advancements.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer, preferably within the M+E sector.
    • Electrically biased with strong electrical engineering skills and qualifications.
    • Ideally holding 2391 Testing and Inspection certification or equivalent.
    • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
    • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Full UK driving license.
    • Flexibility to work outside of normal hours when required.
