As a Project Manager at Capco, you will be responsible for managing key projects on behalf of your client, ensuring the project and delivery is structured and delivered according to the client's scope and budget.
You will assist with end-to-end planning, monitor project progress and set deadlines, manage risks and issues, prioritize tasks, drive operational readiness and conduct project meetings.
AS PART OF THE CONSULTING TEAM AT CAPCO, THE PROJECT MANAGER WILLManage workstreams (potentially leveraging Agile processes) and partner with clients, technology vendors, and project teams to ensure on-time, and on-budget, quality delivery
Develop milestone-level project plans including key timelines, critical path, owners, and dependencies
Be responsible for tracking risks, issues and decisions, and mitigating risks to ensure the team can deliver with minimal blockers
Manage projects independently while managing teams of consultants
Experience leading large, complex projects and the ability to lead multiple project teams and projects simultaneously
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Knowledge of Financial Services and Capital Markets is preferable, but not essential
Comfortable working across business and IT domains and possess the ability to shift between technical analysis and business value discussions
Effective and flexible communication skills
Project Management qualifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification are preferable, but not essential
