Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner with expertise in logistics, groupage, and domestic transportation. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in orchestrating transportation operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimising route efficiency


Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate transportation activities, including groupage and domestic shipments
Optimise route planning to minimise costs and maximise efficiency
Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Analyse transportation data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance
Lead and mentor junior members of the transportation team.
This role is temporary 3-6 months however could lead into a full time position for the right candidate

Working Monday-Friday start time is 08:00 or 09:00 paying between £14.50-£16.00 per hour weekly pay 40 hours per week
