Page Personnel are partnered with a Public Sector organisation in Nottingham in their search for a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis with a potential to go permanent.

Our client is a well known Public Sector Organisation based just off the M1 near Nuthall, Nottinghamshire.


Description

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

  • Review outstanding invoices and prepare Better Payment Practice Code (BPPC) report
  • Produce and complete Supplier setup requests as and when required
  • Reconcile control accounts for Statement of Financial Position codes with an agreed timetable
  • Investigate unallocated income and advise correct allocation or budget code
  • General Finance Administration

Profile

The successful Finance Assistant:


  • Previous experience in a finance environment
  • Previous experience in a Not for Profit organisation (essential)
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services processes
  • Knowledge of Integra Financial System
  • Use of financial ledger and reporting packages
  • Have good Microsoft Excel skills
