We are excited to present a unique opportunity within a newly created team at Nottingham Building Society as Mortgage Quality Control Assessor.

The Mortgage Quality Control Assessor role is vital in ensuring the integrity and quality of our Mortgage processes. Your contributions will directly impact regulatory compliance, policy adherence, and creating great customer outcomes.


We are looking for applicants who are curious and keen to build a strong understanding of our business systems, processes and customer journeys for our mortgage customers.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail and an analytical eye with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.


This is a fantastic new role for someone with strong mortgage knowledge, an eye for detail and a passion for promoting positive customer outcomes.


Here's a taste of what you will be doing
as a Mortgage Quality Control Assessor:

  • *
  • Work collaboratively with teams internally to ensure that service SLAs are delivered.
  • Promote and recognise best practice in line with processes, operating guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate monitoring framework across the department, ensuring quality of interaction with customers and supporting with early communication of missed opportunities and risk identification.
  • Monitor and analyse the contents of customer interactions including inbound & outbound calls, webchats etc and the performance of frontline controls.
  • Ensure that data is supplied resulting in clear, accurate and timely quality monitoring MI.
  • Drive exceptional customer outcomes ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything you do.

  • Knowledge of monitoring approaches and methodologies transferable to the role.
  • Strong understanding of MCOB would be hugely beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relay information in a pragmatic and proportionate manner to create and present actionable insights to Senior Management.
  • Excellent time management skills, well organised, methodical and accurate.
  • Curious with a desire to learn and shape the role as our business transforms.
