    Experis is excited to be working with an extremely high-tech and innovative project team within a huge global powerhouse. This role is maternity cover for 12 months initially where you will work within their AI focused programme.

    Contract details:

    Job title: Technical Program Manager

    Location: Cambridge – 50% remote

    Duration: 12 months

    Pay: Salary equivalent of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

    Start date: 15/04/2024

    Day to day responsibilities:


    • Support research projects to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and co-ordination.


    • Gather agenda beforehand and facilitate all project team meetings.


    • Facilitate quarterly planning sessions.


    • Oversee legal and compliance processes for the research team including experimental validation efforts and academic collaborations.


    • Organize talks with external academics under nondisclosure agreements.


    • Preparation of internal and external communications material.


    • Manage key stakeholder relationships, within research, but also more broadly across external collaborators.


    • Drive data governance and integrity.


    • Analysis of industry landscape, reporting on key trends and initiatives of relevance.

    Experience required:


    • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management OR equivalent experience.


    • 2+ years' experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.


    • High proficiency in verbal and written communication, ability to interact with diverse groups across multiple organisational levels.


    • Exceptional problem identification and problem resolution skills.


    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including being a great networker; experienced at navigating a global, matrixed organization, as well as complex external partnerships.


    • A self-starter who can work in ambiguous environments.


    • A strong influencer and negotiator.


    • Familiarity with common process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six-Sigma, etc.), preferred but not essential.
