    Position Overview:

    As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the contractual aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management within the heavy steels or related industries, demonstrating a keen understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Contract Review and Negotiation:
      • Review and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and project teams, to optimize contract terms and conditions.
    2. Risk Management:
      • Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks.
      • Provide guidance on risk allocation and propose solutions to protect the company's interests.
    3. Contract Compliance:
      • Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
      • Work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and timelines.
    4. Change Order Management:
      • Handle change orders and variations to contracts, assessing their impact on project timelines and costs.
      • Negotiate changes with clients and suppliers as needed.
    5. Communication and Collaboration:
      • Foster effective communication between internal teams and external parties involved in contracts.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure smooth project execution.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, preferably in the heavy steels or construction industry.
    • Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
