    Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Collections Manager to oversee the collections function within the business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credit risk of the company by assessing creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and monitoring outstanding debts.

    Duties will include but not be limited:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain collections policies and procedures
    • Assess and analyse the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
    • Set credit limits and terms for customers in line with company policies
    • Review and approve credit applications and sales orders
    • Monitor and chase up overdue invoices and outstanding debts
    • Liaise with customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to resolve payment issues
    • Prepare regular reports on credit control performance and debt collection activities
    • Provide guidance and support to the credit control team

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

    • Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable management
    • Strong knowledge of credit control principles, practices, and regulations
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

    Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm with a 5pm finish on Fridays
