- A diverse caseload encompassing both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Tailored documents, letters, and correspondence to meet the individual needs of our clients.
- Experience with clients and opposing solicitors, attending meetings and negotiating with opposing parties.
- Support to the supervising partner as required.
- Identify business development opportunities and cultivate relationships with clients and potential clients.
- Administrative tasks including timely completion of timesheets and billing in accordance with firm guidelines.
- Updated with changes and developments in the law through continuous learning and professional development activities.
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction work, including drafting and negotiating construction documentation and handling adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and/or litigation.
- Experience with the Building Safety Fund and Developer Remediation Contract is desirable.
- Drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication and client relationship management skills.
- Organizational abilities and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently.
- Track record in business development and ability to generate new work; a small following would be advantageous.
- Work collaboratively within the construction team and across other practice groups within the firm, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate.
- Judgment, decision-making skills, and resilience.
- Can-do attitude with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
