Job description
Meridian Wellbeing is looking for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) Therapists to work in our Step 2 Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Service in Barnet.
This role is suitable for qualified therapists looking for an ad-hoc or part-time role to complement their existing commitments.
These are flexible part time posts with the potential to work around your preferred hours, and available for an immediate start.
The Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner will work within Meridian Wellbeing who is a partner of the Multilingual Wellbeing Service (MWS) consortium and is working to provide IAPT Services in Barnet.
- Work within the guidelines and follow the procedures of the IAPT service
- Assess the suitability of referred clients for the IAPT service and signpost or refer unsuitable clients to the relevant service.
- To support people with common mental health problems in the self
- To assist with the delivery of information/selfhelp material and support for selfhelp groups, under the supervision of a qualified mental health practitioner.
- To actively make use of clinical supervision for all clientrelated tasks in order to review and improve the effectiveness of interventions offered.
The service is a generic service, but we are also seeking therapists with the ability to provide therapeutic interventions in other languages.
In particular we are looking for Arabic, Urdu, Gujarati, Turkish, Hindi, Bengali, Farsi, Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Asian, Greek, Romanian and Somali speaking therapists.
All other languages welcome too.Job Types:

- IAPT: 2 years (preferred)
