Salary:
Up to £32k depending on experience

Due to continued growth, Reed Epsom is supporting a client who are looking for a technician to join their busy team here in Epsom.

Details:

Up to £32,000 basic depending on experience
Uncapped Efficiency based bonus scheme
Uncapped additional work itemised bonus scheme

Monday

Friday, 8: pm and Saturday 1 in paid as overtime).

As a Vehicle Technician and/ or MOT Tester, you will be skilled in all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing, and have an understanding of diagnostics.

The client is happy to provide continued training e.g. EV training.

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:

Carry out all aspects of servicing, repairs as per the guidelines of the manufacturer/ service scheduling.
An understanding in diagnosis and ability to diagnose faults with vehicles.
Replacement of Clutches, Timing Belts / Chains and engine repairs.
Assist with other duties and team members as and when required.

Essential Skills required for this Vehicle Technician.

NVQ Level 3 desirable, may consider the right level 2 technician.
Experienced in carrying out all areas of work listed in key responsibilities.
Can do attitude, real team player.
Own tools to carry out standard servicing and repairs.

My client is open to either a level 3 service and MOT tester, that can do pretty much everything. Servicing, repairs, limited diag, clutches, timing chains etc. Alternatively a semi-skilled tech that I can train and mould to our ways of working.
