MEP Project Planner, Glasgow or Edinburgh- Scottish Central Belt

Our Client is a Tier 1, Mechanical & Electrical Company, they are seeking to hire an experienced MEP Project Planner who could be based in either their Glasgow or Edinburgh offices working on projects in the central belt of Scotland. There is an strong pipeline of prestige projects and support and mentoring to enable the right candidate to progress rapidly throughout the organisation.

As a project planner in Glasgow or Edinburgh, you would be expected to:

Identify planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements

Identify major quantities and factors affecting the programme

Produce and document the planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports.

Interfacing with all KDP's (Key Delivery Partners) & third parties on the project to identify and resolve issues

Key Skillset Required:

Proven prior experience working on mid-large scale construction / Engineering projects in a Project Planning capacity

NEC 3 or 4 experience

Prior experience working as part of a site team, a busy site environment, multi-disciplinary services (digital, design, production, commercial & planning)

Ideally experience of various reporting cycles - I.E. Earned Value Management, Variance Analysis, Critical Path Methodology, Quantity Tracking

Solid and proven Primavera P6 and MS Excel experience.
