We're looking for a SHE Advisor to join our Build team.

Based out of the Maple Cross Office, travelling to sites across North London


Contract:
Full time, Permanent


Responsibilities


As a SHE Advisor, you'll be working within Build Team, giving sound and practical guidance at all levels of management on Kier's SHE management procedures and SHE legislation.

Complete auditing and inspections, carry out accident investigations, provide informed advice and support to deliver safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplaces and sites.


Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out all SHE tasks as directed by the SHE Manager that are required to maintain Kier Group SHE policies and procedures
  • Carrying out regular audits and inspections to identify safe and unsafe working conditions and working practices. Report on the result of such inspections and make recommendations to remedy any defects found.
  • Hold regular meetings with the Senior staff members for the purpose of advising and updating them on Kier SHE policies and procedures
  • Develop a working relationship with the local HSE Principal Inspector and encourage a Kier/HSE dialogue at all levels.

Who are we looking for?
This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if have:

  • A clean driving licence and wiliness to travel
  • A hand on approach to resolving issues and finding effective and practical solutions.
  • Demonstrate competence within the construction industry safety, health and environmental experience within a similar construction business with a good practical understanding of the principles of SHE issues and legislation
