IT Admin Assistant to join our Group IT Team, based at

The NEC.


Purpose of role


To provide administrative support to the IT Service Management Department, ensuring requests are actioned in a timely manner and accurate records are kept.


To assist co ordination for the IT Event Services Team and work with suppliers to ensure they deliver a high quality service to our customers in line with the overall aims and objectives of IT Services.


Key Skills

  • Day to day administration for the Service Management Teams
  • Co ordination of work requests for the Event Services Team
  • Work with suppliers to ensure their tickets are up to date on our systems
  • Raise requisitions and send purchase orders to suppliers
  • Co ordinate the receipt and delivery of orders
  • Raise and manage requests via the Service Management System
  • Management of a personal queue within the IT Service Management System
  • Fulfil basic IT service requests
  • Liaise with the Service Desk to ensure hardware changes are documented
  • Assist with the monitoring of the Group mailbox for Service Management
