    Account Manager – Telecom Media£42,000 + Uncapped OTE 85-90,000+Revenue - £1.5 Million – Sponsorship & Exhibition Background RequiredLondon ( 1 day office per week)


    The Account Manager will have proven sales and account management experience as well as an understanding of developing new business opportunities., you will need expertise in selling high end Sponsorship & Exhibition revenue.

    ResponsibilitiesIdentify & develop new commercial opportunities with the sales team to hit agreed event sales targetsNurture an existing global customer portfolio, build close customer relationships with decision makers & use a highly consultative sales process, to maintain and grow annual spendBuild and manage a personal sales pipeline to exceed sales targets for repeat and new business the relevant sales admin and CRM systems with 100% precision for accurate forecasting (Salesforce)an interest and willingness to learn about the telecoms industryto understand customers' business priorities and objectives – understanding how each company fits into the ecosystem and identifying where new opportunities may lieFollow up and convert inbound leads allocated by the Head of Sales to drive new business and expand audience reachExperience Required:

    proven track record of hitting revenue targets, developing new business, and managing key customer accountsin selling event and conference solutions to a global audience, managing customers in different time zones and being sensitive to cultural differencessuccess working to deadlines and prioritising sales activities across multiple projects at any one timeto negotiate and develop working relationships with senior decision makersability to learn and understand a new market sectorability to manage a personal pipeline with experience of CRM systems and reporting revenue to Head of Sales
