    GLORY are looking for a Supply Planner to support our global, centralised Supply Chain function from our Basingstoke HQ.

    ROLE PURPOSE

    The role of the Supply Planner is to provide process and service stability across the supply chain whilst at the same time improving process effectiveness, agility and support for R&D / innovation both centrally and in the regions. The person will be required to manage, quality assure and undertake analysis, Order-to Cash and physical supply chain processes according to those goals, NPI, EOL and non-standard operations.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitate Order Allocation Process & and maintains planning parameters in ASCP
    • Analyse planning configuration correctness & demand signals
    • Prepare Phase In/Phase Out allocation proposal together with Business Units. Monitor plan implementation / demand fulfilment against the plan
    • Collect Supply Capability information from different sources and create a consolidated global capability plan for whole planning horizon
    • Prepare delivery outlook plan, balancing material, and other planning and order management reports
    • Ensure the appropriate Business Intelligence is in place and good practice to drive the purchasing activity and Min/Max processes
    • Create delivery capability scenarios and calculations
    • Consolidate capacity and material availability information and prepare a summary about Supply Capability in needed level
    • Turn demand plan into Sources of Supply specific unconstrained supply plan; create Supply plan proposal
    • Compare unconstrained supply plan and supply capability; identify cases where further analysis is needed
    • Output maximisation by directing material execution actions on identified material issues and by making decisions about balancing orders between sources of supply
    • Manage the impact of returned material from the field
    • Coordinate daily activity for buyers and material controllers
    • Drive the process which includes the planning of procurement, inventory control, logistics and distribution
    • Develop information about supplier performance
    • Manage the supplier relationship for supply chain related processes and issues

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Education Level:

    • Experience in supply chain optimisation
    • Experience of using an ERP system (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
    • Good MS Excel & report writing skills (VBA, Qlikview other Business Intelligence tools)
    • Knowledge of the use of MS Office
    • E2e Demand Supply Network Optimization
    • Primarily ASCP experience or equivalent
    • Demantra and JDE is a benefit.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate level of education with experience in supply chain planning and/or demand planning
