Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced *Female Healthcare Assistant* to support a young man in Wellington, Somerset who has Cerebral Palsy.

He also has epilepsy, learning disability, severe visual impairment, and severe reflux. He has a PEG and JEJ.

This young man lives on an old farm that breeds birds with his parents and younger brother who are lovely and friendly.

He enjoys going swimming and being outdoors. He also loves to interact with animals. He has limited verbal communication and requires a wheelchair and manual handling.

*You will be working 2:1* The ideal candidate would be a resilient, seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care, and experience with moving and handling.

Someone who will engage and interact with the family would be beneficial. *You need to be an experienced carer.

• It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent.

  Training is paid for.Pay Rates £13.80 p/hr Monday - Thursday £14.05 p/hr Friday £16.05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday £19.05 p/hr Bank Holidays_We offer the option to be paid __Weekly __or __Monthly__.

_*Shifts:

8pm – 8am, 7 Nights Per Week Available It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts. You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available. Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work. Full mileage paid from home to this location in Wellington up to a maximum of 20 miles each way. You can work full or part time. You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
