    Your will be responsible for the Digital Twin projects engineering capability and capacity. You shall maintain and manage a team that: has a skills profile aligned with the business forecast, the regional (/global) engineering team and the 5-year strategic plan; can deliver projects optimally and efficiently by using the available efficiency tools; be an active member of the regional (global) Operations senior management team as well as the European engineering management community.

    In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Participate in strategic business planning and annual budgeting processes; Understand market trends and Emerson's strategic direction
  • Work in conjunction with senior operations management team (Global, Regional and Local-FSO's) to ensure that the regional organization meets its financial performance targets in compliance with Emerson's corporate governance standards; Promote and participate in the success of the European Operations organization
  • Be the primary engineering interface to remote engineering centers as well as to the other Emerson organizations; Ensure the delivery of the sales support function correctly and consistently
  • Oversees and support Lifecycle Service on contract management & technical support processes good execution; Maintain a network of 3rd party independent contractors (if required); Reporting of engineering performance and for ensuring cost recovery in accordance with plan
  • Represent the interests of engineering in the Sales & Operations planning process and is responsible for hiring and staffing the engineering team to meet the S&OP requirement; Support sales in the pursuit phase by presenting engineering delivery capabilities to customers; Responsible for ensuring engineering compliance to the project delivery and HSE quality standards and for promoting a continuous improvement culture within the engineering team; Contribute to or lead PMO or European engineering improvement initiatives, in alignment with the Engineering Director
  • Proactive customer concern path and owner of project engineering issues; Promote commercial metrics within the engineering group, encouraging delivery to budgets and the prioritization of organizational change; Create and inclusive and supportive environment for personnel within the team; Act as line manager for personal development, appraisals, grievances, etc. for the members of the assigned engineering group

    For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree, state-certified technician, completed vocational training
  • Management level experience in a system, software, process automation or application engineering capacity
  • Excellent digital literacy
  • Proficient English (verbal and written), excellent communicator
