Start date:

Our client is recruiting a PA to join his team of two Live-In Personal Assistants to provide his health care, academic and personal support and help him make the most of his university experience

This is a great opportunity to spend a year or more doing something very different and meaningful after graduating from university, before embarking on a further career.

This is a "flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a Third-Year university student to be doing.

About our Client
Our client is a 21-year-old and is in his third year studying Human Geography at the University of Exeter. He has a physical disability, Cerebral Palsy.

He is a member of the NYT (National Youth Theatre)

Our client is confident in his own ability and is really enjoying living independently at university

As written by him...
- _I am studying Human Geography but I am also interested in politics and general news._
- _I love acting and hope to join the Drama Club. I may need you to help me learn my lines._
- _Oh, by the way, I have cerebral palsy and it means that all four limbs are affected and I have very limited fine motor skills. Within a safe space I am able to walk around, but limit this to a few places._
- _I have a very broad range of interests, I do enjoy talking and listening to people and am always interested in learning._
- _I will totally rely on you to take notes in lessons and then file them in my filing system
  • I like to be organised_
- _Be prepared to Google random questions in the middle of conversations
  • I am a very curious person who loves to learn about the world._
- _Oh, and I'm not a drinker, so you won't have to retrieve me from the gutter, well not from alcohol use anyway._
