NB:

Assessment centres for this vacancy will be run on 13 March 2024 so please ensure you are provisionally available to attend.


As part of the role, you will study towards your Business Administration Level 3 qualification. Once you have completed your apprenticeship, further study includes the ITIL Foundation level qualification.

You will also have the opportunity to be taught SQL, however prior knowledge isn't needed.


You could expect to progress into a Systems Support or Analyst role once you have completed your apprenticeship in this field.


What you'll be doing:


The ERP Systems team is a small team of 6 who provide system support across SJP for the Head Office system, Unit 4 ERP (Business World).

This technical system has several functions such as Finance, Payroll, Human Resources and more.

The system itself is heavily relied upon for SJP Head Office to operate and therefore the smooth running of the programme is pivotal to ensure there is limited adverse impact in the event of an issue.


The exposure you gain to the wider SJP business is brilliant, as the team look after SJPI and SJP Asia, alongside SJP UK.


As part of the team, you will be involved in incident resolution, process enhancements, requests for change, project development, processes to support reliable performance and also production of monthly data to report on the system.


Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Incident tracking and resolution including data maintenance and user maintenance.
  • Providing facetoface advice and assistance to employees that have raised an issue.
  • Monitoring businesscritical interfaces and production of outbound interfaces.
  • Assisting and supporting issue tracking.
  • Providing support to wider ERP projects, developments and initiatives.
  • Helping deploy developments/enhancements into live.

About you

Who we're looking for:


If you are interested in the Technical System Support role, you will need to hold a minimum of level 4 in English Language and Mathematics and have strengths in analysing and reporting.

You should also held excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work through a problem from start to finish.


Other skills required to be successful:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Curiosity and drive to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
