The Fleet Contract Partner will be a key role within the Procurement team being the first point of contact for Fleet to enable key services to be provided throughout NHBC.

What you'll be doing

  • Initiate our Driver Risk project which will see implementation of driver training and risk monitoring for all drivers
  • Set up the driver user group and manage monthly or quarterly meetings to provide feedback to the fleet
  • Be an ambassador supporting c.680 field and officebased staff with fleet queries & liaising with suppliers. Dealing with complaints, queries, connecting of suppliers, pool cars, hire cars & relief services
  • Work on the implementation of the salary sacrifice car option for the rest of the business as a key deliverable. Taking this project from start through to completion and maintenance
  • The Fleet Contract Partner will maintain Procurement's newly established and centralised fleet compliance data hub, ensuring all drivers complete their driver training, license checks, vehicle checks and mileage input entered and uploaded to the supplier portal.
  • The Fleet Contract Partner will take responsibility for all operational fleet management to include but not limited to fleet queries and communications across the driver population, facilitating and chairing the fleet user groups, analysing driver risk profiles, ensuring mandatory driver training is undertaken and ensuring fleet data accuracy.
  • Travelling across the country to meet with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Experience within a contract management role or have previously worked and supported the management of a fleet
  • CIPS qualified or working towards is desirable
  • Able to challenge the status quo and bring new ways of doing things
  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
