We are working with a forward-thinking, creative association to recruit for a Finance Manager

The successful post holder will take responsibility for all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring the general ledger, including ensuring and manages the accurate and efficient processing of all A/P and A/R activities
• Performs the month-end closing and distribution of financial statements
• Serves as liaison to Manager(s), Business Administration, assisting them with accounting-related service issues
• Day-to-day management of Finance Administrator
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Production of project reports from accounting software: Ajera
• Acts as the organisation's liaison for all audit-related issues and projects

Person Specification:

• Fully Qualified Finance Professional (Essential)
• Proven experience in both management and financial accounting
• Experience with Ajera and Sage Payroll
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong communicator verbally and in writing

Salary: £55- £70k per annum

Contract Type: Permanent
