Property Surveyor Intern
Salary:
£22,000 (pro rata)
Location: 1 x North Division - Manchester
Travel will be across the patch you are assigned to, roughly 2 days a week and the rest will be homebased or office depending on situations.
The Vacancy
We are seeking 4 Property Surveyor Interns to join our team on an 8-week summer internship programme.
What will be required of the Role
- Working alongside our existing team of Property Surveyors
- Supporting them with handovers of new developments, assisting with defect reports and asset surveys.
- Assisting with planned work contracts, using a standard form of contract (NEC & JCT)
- Assisting with the preparation of scheme designs with costings, programmes for completion of projects and specification of works.
- Assisting with the organisation of documents for tender and advise on appointing contractors, designers, and procurement routes.
- Assisting with the delivery of planned works across our portfolio.
- Assisting our surveyors with analysing the condition of existing buildings. Assisting with identifying and analysing defects

The 8-week summer internship programme will run between 3rd July - 25th August 2023.About You
Education and Qualifications:
- Studying towards a Degree in the Built Environment and on target for a minimum of a 2: 3 x A Levels or equivalent
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
You will be:
- Enthusiastic with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Surveying and/or Property Management

- Computer literate and have experience in Microsoft Office software
- Full UK driving licence with access to a car is preferable
