• Title: European Senior E/CTRM PreSales / Solution Sales Consultant
• Grade: Senior Consultant or Manager
• Location: Based ideally from commutable to London, but can be based from anywhere in Europe, as long as you're close to a major international airport
• Salary: Flexible but circa £70-100k basic (or equivalent in Euros if based from Continental Europe) + 50% commission + benefits
• Experience: Proven E/CTRM Functional Business Analysis / Implementation experience, with ideally some PreSales experience

Multi commodity trading & risk management (E/CTRM) software firm seeks a dynamic European Senior E/CTRM PreSales / Solution Consultant to lead all their European PreSales activity.

My client is a very well established North American, very modern, innovative, Cloud/Saas based E/CTRM software platform/firm who provide an easy to use experience for it's clients and users. Offering a fixed fee service to their clients, allowing quick and easy to implement software that is live within 4 months from signature of the deal. Particularly strong in Power, Gas, Oil and LNG Trading, but also covers Metals, Ags and Soft Commodity Trading.

3 years ago they expanded into the European E/CTRM market with their first European client (Power & Gas) and since then, they have gone from strength to strength with multiple sales across Power, Gas, Oil and LNG in the UK and across Continental Europe. Joining their European team, but also supported by their US team, you'll join an innovative and rapidly growing business, who are looking for their first full time European PreSales Consultant to work closely with their European Sales Director on preparing RFIs and RFPs, then assisting as the E/CTRM system specialist on demos etc.

This is NOT an implementation role, but you can come from an E/CTRM implementation background. This is also NOT a new business sales role, that is the Sales Director's role but you will be assisting him in the sales process and acting as his SME on the company's software, discussing it with clients, answering their detailed questions etc.

The European Sales Director is based in London, but you do not need to be London based (would be helpful though), but you do need to be based in Europe, close to a major international airport and willing to travel to London every few weeks and to client site for f2f demos / client meetings.

Key skills sought:

• Proven E/CTRM software experience working for a rival E/CTRM software house, a services consultancy or even a commodity trading house, coming from a functional business analysis or software implementation background
• knowledge of at least one major commodity and ideally a few commodities, including Power, Gas, Oil, LNG, Metals, Ags & Soft Commodities, but this needs to include specific E/CTRM experience, you can't be a Risk Manager or Trader etc
• PreSales / Solution Sales experience in either a formal PreSales Consultant role or in an adhoc / help out role would be beneficial
• Knowledge of SQL would be useful
• UK or EU passport allowing you to live and work in your home European country without any sponsoring needed by my client and ability to travel across Europe to meet clients
• Typically bright degree educated
• Business fluency in English (written and spoken) with language fluency in other European languages (German, French, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Spanish, Italian etc) being very useful
