- Promoting a culture of compliance within the firm, ensuring everyone is aware of their responsibilities and developing key stakeholder relationships
- Supervising members of the team, providing training and coaching
- Assisting the MLRO to manage the AML compliance framework, risk assessments, high-risk jurisdiction lists, AML training, sanctions monitoring, etc.
- Managing day-to-day queries regarding compliance, SRA regulations, conflicts of interest, client and matter management, and data protection
- Managing compliance projects including maintaining risk and compliance policies and procedures, compliance with the SRA Standards and Regulations, delivering firm-wide compliance training, managing the firm's risk management accreditations, creating an audit program, and horizon scanning for regulatory developments
- Analysing root cause of compliance breaches and making recommendations for improvements
- Managing the annual professional indemnity insurance application
