Do you have a background in higher education administration? Are you available immediately for a short-term assignment offering a hybrid working model? Signature Recruitment is partnering with a leading London university in search of an Assessment Officer.
This temporary, full-time role starts immediately and has the benefit of a flexi-hybrid working pattern.On-campus days are Mondays and Wednesdays, and full on-campus presence during the exam week of 25th March to 28th March.
As an Assessment Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the Assessments Team through the busy exam period, engaging in a range of responsibilities from exam paperwork preparation to invigilation and examiner recruitment.
You'll be instrumental in setting up exams on the online platform, managing digital devices, and ensuring the seamless operation of assessment events that include simulations with actors and patients.
Assessment Officer Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of exam materials and setup of exams on the marking online system.
- Recruitment and coordination of examiners and invigilators, including schedule management.
- Servicing exams, including invigilation and technical support for online and physical assessment components.
- Liaison with students and academic staff, ensuring clear communication and support.
- Management of technology used in exams, including iPads and internal software systems.
- Handling sensitive data with strict adherence to GDPR guidelines.
Assessment Officer Key Skills:
- Proven experience in higher education administration, ideally with exposure to clinical exam settings.
- Exceptional administrative skills, including data entry and management of confidential information.
- Strong technological proficiency, capable of managing software updates and digital exam resources.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure during peak assessment periods.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 weeks
Salary:
£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
