About The Role:

Join APEM's dynamic and rapidly growing hydromorphology team, where we are currently undertaking a range of exciting projects in various fields such as hydrology, hydrometry, water resources, drought, wetland management, and river restoration.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide expert aquatic science consultancy services to clients, working collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions.

Your role will encompass the entire consultancy process, from developing and securing new projects to providing authoritative technical guidance and producing high-quality scientific reports

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:
Tender preparation including costing and writing of technical sections.
Data analysis and reporting.
Project management, including control of budgets and organising technical inputs.
Client liaison, including site visits as required.
Project specific fieldwork as required.
Mentoring, support and guidance to consultant scientists.
Identifying follow up work with existing clients or potential new opportunities.
Producing high quality work within tight time and cost constraints.

About you

Essential

MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (hydrology, environmental science, catchment management)
Understanding of hydrological/ hydromorphological analysis
Hydraulic modelling
Excellent numerical analysis skills, including GIS and other data analysis packages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
