    Description
    Senior Systems Engineer

    We are looking for an experienced electro- mechanical Systems Engineer to be part of a specialist defence client who deliver computing platforms and complex systems across a number of industries.

    You will have the chance to work on defence equipment and hit the ground running to take full reins of your new role.


    You will be:


    Supporting all aspects of the Design to Order Service (DTOS), developing designs through concept and early-stage design as well as supporting the bidding process.

    Provide leadership and accountability in the delivery of systems engineering activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience, working as a systems engineering subject matter expert.

    Develop, structure and write the Basis of Design document flowing down customer requirements and their associated acceptance criteria.
    Create and maintain the requirements database, development of the Supplier requirements and their traceability to the customer requirement. Lead the acceptance process to demonstrate compliance.
    Produce and collate evidence to demonstrate system compliance with design and requirements specifications.
    Provide domain expertise in support of both internal and external design reviews via written and verbal means.

    Essentials
    years of experience in systems for complex electro-mechanical systems
    conducting functional systems analysis
    in requirements management
    of all elements of the systems lifecycle
    in completing V&V Exercises
    in working to and auditing against electrical and safety standards

    Desirable
    in working complex defence projects
    in Electrical Safety and Environmental testing
    in testing of EMC and regulatory requirements
