    We are currently looking for an Employment Support Officer to support an established team whose joint approach is toprovide an inclusive service for carers in all aspects of Independent Living.

    Ideally, you will have experience and understanding of Self-Directed Support and have current experience of managinga caseload, working one-to-one with individuals including unpaid carers and disabled people.

    After initial training in the office environment, this post will be a mix of office, home and outreach based working.

    The post is part of a project in partnership with VOCAL (Voice of Carers Across Lothian) and will includeregular meetings and close work alongside VOCAL colleagues.

    We are looking forsomeone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing day-to-day leadership & guidance to ourpayroll and financial management service teams to ensure accurate, seamless, efficient, and timely execution ofour payrolls in accordance with UK laws, regulations and company policies, and drive processimprovement/standardisation across payroll activity.

    Our Payroll Team currently provides a comprehensive, computerised payroll service for an average of 650+ PersonalAssistant Employers who are employing around 1,000+ Personal Assistants per month.

    The Financial Management Service provides financial support of holding bank accounts in service users' names toensure that they can access SDS care packages.

    This service means that we ensure all payroll is paid on time andcorrectly, we also support the service user with the management of this account.

    The number of service users canalso fluctuate however, an average of around service user's access this service per month.
