Hays are recruiting for an Operations Analyst with specific futures and options team to join a dynamic and varied team on a contract basis for 12 months initially.

You will work closely with the head of ETD clearing to perform the following duties;

Resolve all Client Operational issues, liaising/corodinating with relevant internal/external stakeholders while performing root cause analysis to drive down breaks.
Client Clearing manage and coordinate the margin process, to include (not withstanding), communicating and agreeing the call with the client
Manage Nostro and Control accounts on an intraday basis in relation to margining processes.
Responsible for the processing of Futures and Options across all Global Exchanges along with post trade events and physical deliveries.
Ensure all market facing reconciliations and position maintenance are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Proactively monitor trades executed ensuring timely settlement and allocation, ensuring where possible STP processing occurs, remediating any exceptions or static requirements.
Responsible for FOBO, cash, fees and Balance Sheet reconciliations and the escalation of persistent exceptions to senior management.

Expected experience includes;

In depth Knowledge of one or more disciplines: Clearing, Reconciliations, Control
An understanding of the workings of Futures, Options & OTC markets, associated operational flows and risks gained from experience with a recognised market participant.
Indepth knowledge of one or more regulatory regimes, including CASS, MiFID II, EMIR
