- Regulation Technology Implementation: Lead the assessment, selection, and implementation of technology solutions to automate compliance processes, enhance monitoring capabilities, and streamline operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends, assess their impact on the fund's operations, and implement appropriate Regulation Technology solutions to ensure compliance.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess compliance risks associated with quantitative trading activities and collaborate with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies using technology solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of RegTech tools and platforms, and the ability to evaluate their suitability for specific compliance needs of a Global Investment Advisor.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to Investment Advisors, including SEC, CFTC, FCA, and MAS rules, market regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong coding skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience in software development, scripting, and automation.
- Experience in selecting, implementing, and optimizing Regulation Technology solutions to support compliance functions.
