We are recruiting a Thematic Support Officer to join us for a period of 6 months.


The team


The Thematic Engagement Team forms part of the Thematic Risk Team at the SRA, who are responsible for undertaking a wide range of thematic projects and investigating issues within specific sectors of the legal profession.

Some of these projects can be high profile and have a significant impact. The Thematic Risk Team always engages with the regulated population constructively and proactively.


The role


As a Thematic Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Thematic Risk Team in a variety of regulatory compliance exercises.

You will contact firms by a variety of communication methods.

You will proactively monitor law firms' compliance with our regulatory rules by undertaking various activities to check and review information.

You will assess compliance, and evidence your decision making.

Excellent attention to detail will be important as you will be responsible for producing high-quality and accurate work.

This is a hybrid role and will be based in our Birmingham office 1 to 2 days a week, and from home the rest of the week.
