As our Marketing Communications Specialist, you will manage National and Dealer marketing communication programmes across the Mercedes-Benz Trucks, FUSO & Fleetboard brands.

Work with Head of Marketing Communications to produce annual plan for responsible marketing programmes in line with respective internal and Daimler Truck AG departments that support the brand objectives of the business and adhere to the agreed financial budgets.


Accurately record, measure and report allocated marketing spend by activity and undertake monthly budget spend reviews with Brand Controlling and Head of Marketing Communications.

Manage, deliver, and evaluate brand and product campaigns for responsible programmes in line with national strategic objectives. Develop and implement suitable UK specific materials to supplement centrally produced assets in line with budgetary requirements.

Work collaboratively with Product Management to understand the segmentation opportunities and align marketing activity for optimum return on investment.

Create the Dealer Localised Campaigns and Templates using permitted systems regular campaign updates and supporting marketing materials with Dealer Marketing Managers.

Work collaboratively with Events, PR and Digital functions of the Team to align brand messaging across all channels.

Identify opportunities for greater brand awareness and customer communications across relevant touchpoints. Develop proposals to include relevant research to support decision making process to optimise market penetration.

Develop strong relationships with supporting agencies to ensure optimum service delivery for the business. Support the Head of Marketing Communications with agency briefings and performance reviews.

Track KPIs for all marketing activity associated with designated area of responsibility.

Working collaboratively, you will provide regular updates to the Marketing Team on Dealer: Engagement, planning, compliance, sales, and trends.

About you

More about what you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Ø Previous marketing experience to include the creative and production processes.
  • Ø Recognised marketing qualification desirable, but not essential.
  • Ø Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
  • Ø An understanding of the wider marketing and media landscape and sourcing relevant data and information.
  • Ø Budget management experience.
  • Ø High competence in analytics and reporting techniques.
  • Ø Strong project management skills.
  • Ø Advanced IT skills -Excel, Powerpoint and Word required.
  • Ø Excellent written, verbal communications, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ø Strong decision making skills and influencing skills.
  • Ø An adaptive "thinker", able to work independently and as a team-player.
