Job Title:
Payroll Specialist

Location:
Birmingham / hybrid (2 days p/w)


Salary:
up to £30,000pa + £2500 bonus
An excellent opportunity to join a busy client payroll team as a Payroll Specialist EITHER as a permanent option or a 12-month FTC option


Responsibilities:


  • Processing employee lifecycle changes
  • Responding to complex payroll questions and assisting in payroll deductions
  • Performing checks on monthly payroll reports and interface errors
  • NI category changes, Global mobility assistance
  • Payroll exception reports
  • Peer checks on reconciliations
  • Supporting annual tax yearend

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous CLIENT experience
  • Developing good working relationship with clients
  • Minimum 2 years experience in UK payroll
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll concepts, statutory practices and procedures
  • Experience with payroll systems and databases
  • Experience with Workday desirable.
