Description

We are looking to speak to a proven Mechanical & Electrical Estimator with strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and components.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

Effective communication and negotiation experience

Attention to detail and accuracy

Role Responsibilities include;

Prepare accurate estimates for mechanical and electrical projects based on project specifications and requirements.

Collaborate with Client project managers, Quantity Surveyors and other clients team to understand project scope and objectives.

Understanding and interpreting Tender Packs inclusive of drawings, specifications, Programmes and other documentation to determine material, labour, and equipment requirements.

Develop detailed cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.

Electronic Take-off software and estimating processes.

Reporting into Business Unit Lead and Commercial Manager monitoring monthly targets & KPI's.

Presenting Tender Adjudications to internal management and transferring to clients facing documents - Ensuring clear explanations and justifications for pricing
