Software Developer - C# / .NET

We are an established SME which supplies software and database development, support services and consultancy expertise for life and business critical systems.

We also have extensive experience of implementing technologies for a wide range of infrastructures from national data centres to smart phones.

Salary £35,000 to £50,000/annum (Negotiable Dependant on Experience) + annual bonuses, Private Health Insurance, and other benefits.

Burton-in-Kendal, Cumbria (Hybrid & flexible working)

Our growing business requires a talented and enthusiastic permanent full-time developer to work on PULSE, a life-critical large-scale development.

You will work alongside other highly motivated and experienced software developers, contributing to technical design sessions, development, maintenance and testing.

Work with the development team to build function rich applications, which build on Savant's solid reputation for developing slick, well-designed software and apps.

NET development skills using C#
~ Knowledge of database development techniques
~ Knowledge of source control packages such as Git or Team Foundation VC;
~ Writing unit tests and other forms of testing

CI/CD via Azure DevOps
Web Servers (IIS) and Windows Server
Testing code and applications against differing browsers and environments;
Problem solving and investigation, documenting and fixing bugs in existing projects;
Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases;
Running performance benchmarking tests;
Liaising with other developers and project staff for progress updates;
Documenting code so other developers can understand and contribute to it;
Learning and testing new technologies, frameworks and languages and staying up to date with new trends and advancements in development;
Building and maintaining databases;
